Project Homeless Connect
Mission
The mission of Project Homeless Connect (PHC) is to connect individuals in Jefferson City experiencing homelessness with the care and resources they need to move forward. PHC is a one-day event designed to help those who are homeless or near-homeless overcome barriers to permanent housing. With the support of local social service agencies, churches, businesses, and volunteers, this event aims to provide critical services that are often difficult to access.

The concept of PHC originated from the Homelessness Task Force in 2014. Since then, we’ve partnered with city leaders, community-based organizations, and volunteers throughout Jefferson City to bring essential services directly to individuals living on the streets. These collaborations are at the heart of what we do. Many dedicated volunteers come together each year to make our programs possible. Homelessness is a community issue, and it requires a community-driven solution.
As we move forward, PHC envisions a day when all people are cared for and housed. Our core mission is to provide connections and care that help end homelessness for our neighbors while fostering a more compassionate Jefferson City.
