JOB ANNOUNCEMENT: PART-TIME EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Organization: Housing the Community Jefferson City (HCJC) Location: Jefferson City, MO. Housing the Community Jefferson City (HCJC), a local non-profit dedicated to serving our unhoused and housing-insecure neighbors, is seeking a collaborative, process-oriented

Position Type: Part-Time (remote/hybrid)

Compensation: $32.00 to $38.00 per hour (No benefits)

Part-Time Executive Director: Following 5 years of community coordination, including our seasonal low-barrier winter shelter (JCRATI) and annual Project Homeless Connect event—HCJC is entering an exciting new phase of organizational growth. The Executive Director will play a vital role in executing our 2026–2030 Strategic Business Plan, navigating municipal zoning and code compliance, and strengthening collaborative partnerships with local faith communities, businesses, and non-profits.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • ·Proven leadership experience, ideally in non-profit management, public administration, or community relations.
  • Strong understanding of municipal processes, grant compliance, or budget management.
  • Excellent communication skills and a deep commitment to serving the unhoused and housing -insecure in our community.
